PRESENT ACTIVITIES
Dr. Fahey maintains adjunct appointments at Johns Hopkins University, at the University of Maine's Institute of Medicine, and at George Mason University. He now spends most of his time working to promote behaviors that enhance healthspan. His ongoing outreach work includes a planned book and podcast series seeking to translate the science that his group and others have done to prevent chronic diseases with broccoli sprouts and other plants, to a lay public audience.
He is a Scientific Advisory Board member of Kuli Kuli, BrightseedBio, FoodNerd, The Sprouting Company, PhytoSmart, and VitaminandMe (EpiNOURISHED), and a consultant to Brassica Protection Products, the company which he co-founded 25 years ago, Murakami Farm. Non-profit and foundation advisory roles include outperformcancer.com, the Microbiome Alliance for Disease Prevention, Microbes and Social Equity, HeroesToo.com, and as a Board Member of the Anti-A.G.E.s Foundation,
